I didn't think I would ever have to record a podcast episode on this subject, but it’s incredible how many coaches don't have a coach themselves. Instead, we - ourselves - fall prey to the ‘Do-It-Yourself Culture’ and set off on a journey to collect as many free programs as we can to add to our arsenal. Despite knowing you’ll get further along in your goals and achieve greater success by having someone help you along the way, we somehow get caught up in the habit of seeking free program after free program after free program and are determined to do it all ourselves.
How will you get someone to believe in the value of coaching if you don't practice what you preach?
Today, I explore the value of working with a coach when building your own coaching business. I share some affordable ways you can work with experts and trainers if cash flow is an issue and things to avoid to find the best coaching programs. I reveal why relying on free programs are not always a good fit for your coaching career and why working with different coaches throughout your journey is actually encouraged. I also share how you can find the right coach for your business… without breaking the bank.
“You are not going to get the magic key to being successful in your coaching career by constantly taking the free crumbs that people are throwing out their front door.” - Jos Willard
