Just because you’re building an online business so that you may not be tied down geographically and can work from practically anywhere, doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t do any face-to-face networking.

In this episode, I share how belonging to a professional networking group early in my entrepreneurial journey jump started my business.

Key things to remember when joining a networking group:

  1. Attendance matter
  2. Active participation helps others see your talents in action
  3. Non-judgmental observation provides valuable lessons

Before joining any networking group, make sure you are all in and will, at a minimum, commit to showing up to every meeting. After all, showing up is a form of participation.

Get out from behind your computer and face-to-face network. It’s worth it to jumpstart your business to the next level.
