At High Percentage, we think knowing the rules of a competition format is simply a good idea, if anything because it will shape the way you train as you get close to competition day. Imagine a soccer team that didn't scrimmage, only practiced technique. Recreating the conditions of match day sounds simple, by we often just train more to prepare for tournaments, when we should be recreating game day.
