Fr. Joseph meditates on the theme of Kiahk in anticipation to the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ, which reconciles us with the Father and gives us access to a deeper relationship of love and communion with Him. Though we were distant from The Fall, God brought us near when He became flesh. Emmanuel, “God with us,” made it possible to have an intimate relationship with Him. This relationship is the meaning of salvation, which materializes through a life of prayer. Part 1 of this 4 part series delves into the meaning of the life of prayer that was made possible for us through the Incarnation.
