I was joined by Nichomi Higgins, LMFT. We talked about the connection between emotional health and disordered eating. She shared the difference between disordered eating and an eating disorder. We talked about how women of color are affected; specifically African-American women and girls who live and struggle with disordered eating. She shared that recovering from an eating disorder is possible and attainable and provided steps that you can take to access care.
