In today's society there are many broken homes. There are many daddy-less children moreso boys. So it is very important for a man to step in and teach these cubs how to become men. Everyone wants to turn a blind-eye or deaf-ear to a single mom in distress, it takes a village, being mindful that its not the village responsibility however, it is the village duty or obligation to help out. After all a woman can't teach a boy how to be a man.
