Diagnosed with ADHD and Autism at 52, AJ Harman could finally make sense of her experience of life. In this episode, recorded during Autism Awareness Month 2022, Jo and AJ delve into definitions of ADHD, how Autism is so often misunderstood and why neurodivergent girls are so often overlooked.

Recently, many more women have been diagnosed in midlife - what does this mean for them? And what can you do if you suspect that you are not neurotypical?

AJ is the founder of Outside the Box: neurodiverse coaching and mentoring whose aim is to help neurodivergent entrepreneurs, freelancers and employees to strengthen their executive function skills and remain focused, calm and empowered in their work. AJ also runs a free Facebook group for adults of any gender diagnosed as neurodivergent or anyone who suspects they might be, to share information and support or ask questions.

The Midlife Movement is a friendly community which aims to challenge outdated stereotypes around midlife and ageing through the sharing of stories and 121 personal coaching. Find out more here: www.themidlifemovement.com
