About Iris Pettus

Iris Pettus, a Tennessee native, joined Cooper Hotels in 2001. During this time, she studied at Union University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Organizational Leadership. Over her career, Iris has held various management positions. Passionate about the hospitality industry, her move to North Alabama was a natural fit. She immediately felt welcome by the community. Iris currently serves on The Morgan County Tourism Board. She is also the Treasurer for Decatur Morgan County Hospitality Association, and is a member of both The Rotary and Kiwanis Club of Decatur.
