The CDC (Center for Disease Control) has a budget of over $12 billion and the NIH (National Institutes for Health) has a budget of $42 billion. Of the $8.3 billion congress approved most of it goes to the CDC and the NIH. In the senate the vote for it was 96-1. Only Rand Paul voted no. That is the reason I have voted for him in the last 2 republican presidential primaries. Why can’t these people just do their jobs without needing more taxpayer dollars?
