Isolation gets its way when it dperives you of thoe connections with people whom you have been keeping in touch with and who matter to you.

The narcissist would love to keep you around for as long as possible when it is convenient for them and for "your sake" and "best interest", under the pretext that they are protecting you from potential embarressment and humiliation (which you can expect is gonna come from their way)

Anyways, it is extremely important to have this right always in mind and be around poeple who will appreciate you for who you are.

Remember that you have this right, and no one can take it away from you.
