The Creative Diaries is a podcast interviewing comedians, directors, actors and writers with different levels of experience.
This podcast was inspired by Judd Apatow's book 'Sick in the Head', where a young Judd Apatow interviewed some of the best comedians, basically wanting to find out as much as possible about what made their career work. The idea behind the podcast is to do a range of creative interviews to see how people got where they are today; Who inspired them? what challenges did they face? What advice to they have for people out there trying to make it? Listen in to find out!

Rob Gill is a pillar of the Irish filmmaking community, having had the idea for the Richard Harris International Film Festival over 11 years ago. You may recognise Somali-born, Cardiff-raised and London-based, Mo Omar from Harry Hill's ClubNite on Channel 4. In 2019, Mo was selected to perform in The Pleasance Comedy Reserve show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was a finalist of the BBC Introducing Radio 4 Comedy Award. Previously, he was the winner of the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year 2017 competition, and semi-finalist in the So You Think You’re Funny and Amused Moose 2017 competitions.
Comedy Producer and comedian Jimmy Furre has run his own comedy nights at The Seven Dial Club for over two years now. Having completed the Soho Theatre Comedy Lab, he created his own night and has performed alongside some of the circuit's best comedians.
The Creative Diaries is kicking off 2020 with a stellar interview with actor Aggy K. Adams. Aggy is known for Oh, Ramona! (2019), World War Z (2013) and Undercover Hooligan (2016). In the interview, Aggy and I talk about insecurity, her acting journey, moving to London and future plans. She gives advice to budding actors and reveals what advice she would give to her teenage self if she could.

Sam Clemens was born in Westminster, London to Janet Clemens and the screenwriter Brian Clemens. His father wrote and produced The Avengers, The New Avengers, The Professionals, Thriller and many more. After training at the 'The Drama Centre London', Sam has gone on to direct, act, write and produce. He also has a production company with his brother George called 'The Clemens Bros'. In his interview for 'The Creative Diaries', Sam discusses the impact his father had on him, his first steps out of drama school, how he has kept going and advice he would give to aspiring actors.
Fun fact: He is the great, great great nephew of Mark Twain and shares the same name as him.
