Kate McAuley was born and raised in Australia, where she experienced a difficult home life and couldn’t wait to escape. She left the country when she was 19 and has since lived all over the world. At the age of 42, after a traumatic divorce, she left London where she was then living and headed out to New York to start again. She says she is now living "a life I would never have dreamed possible.” She speaks honestly, openly and optimistically, and I found this interview incredibly inspiring.
