So first let's talk about the benefits, and these go beyond just maneuvering around the current health crisis.

• Bigger audience
• Global "attendees"
• Better ROI

• Potential for more sponsors

• Find a venue that has strong A/V resources and/or good internet

• Choose a platform that can handle your virtual and in-person needs
• Overdue it on the sound and video engineering hardware
• Create ways for your virtual and in-person attendees to interact and communicate.
• Make sure your virtual participants are just as engaged as your in-person guests. (i.e. - quizzes, surveys, PixiWeb, etc.)
• Over-communicate with your virtual attendees
• Give the virtual crowd some exclusives (their own happy hour, special virtual SWAG, etc.)
• Be flexible.
