Trying to flee poverty and famine in 1733's Ireland, fifteen year old Alice Riley decided to give life in the new world a try. So, she entered herself into Indentured Servitude for passage to the new colony of Georgia. Once, in Savannah, Georgia Alice found life hard under the rule of abusive master William Wise. Together with another servant Richard White, they killed their master and tried to escape. However, they were caught and Alice was the first woman to be hung in Savannah. It is said that Alice was wrongly accused of this murder, so her ghost still haunts Wright Square in Savannah, Georgia.
