Personal love for God is the highest motivational virtue in our life. This is what motivates us to obey God. “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all of thy heart, with all of thy soul and with all of thy mind. This is the first and the great mandate” (Matt 22:37-38). If you are prejudiced you are not loving God because the people you hate are people Jesus died for. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son” (John 3:16).  “And this is the mandate we have from Him, that he who loves God must also love his brother” (1 John 4:20-21). Loving and obeying God is a choice you make.
