Bitterness is a mental attitude sin. Sins that we think are the most unrecognizable sins we commit. “We must cease our bitterness” (Eph 4:31) There is no room for it in the family of God. Respond with forgiveness rather than react with bitterness. Bitter people have few friends. “A stranger cannot share in the joy of your bitterness” (Prov 14:10). Bitterness is self-absorption and defiles and infects others. “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor and evil speaking be put away from you along with malice” (Eph 4:31). No one wants to be around a bitter person.
