Satan is a master deceiver. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Pet 5:8). Satan wants to defeat you, discourage you in your spiritual advance using the lures of the world. Such as false religions promoting human viewpoint. “Resist him, steadfast in the faith” (1 Pet 5:9). Counter Satan’s contract with divine viewpoint, staying filled with the Holy Spirit. “Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” (1 Pet 5:6).
