Sharing the happiness of God is an amazing problem-solving device. It is true, lasting happiness. “These things I write to you that your joy (happiness) may be full” (1 John 1:14). Happiness from the details of life, people, and circumstances is temporal happiness and is fleeting. God designed you to have the capacity for happiness in living, in adversity, and in dying. If you live unhappily, you’ll die unhappy. True happiness comes from God’s grace. “I will rejoice and be happy in Your mercy (God’s grace provisions)” (Psalm 31:7). Paul restated this, “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content” (Phil 4:11).
