From Classical piano with David Syme to an old score from Julie et Julia, and from an original score from Jimmy Brockie, to a snippet of punk from Big Boy Foolish, music was once again full of variety in this hour on The Arts House with Elmarie Mawe and Conor Tallon. And yet again there was a second packed hour of guests. From the Queen of the Coal Quay, Karry Barry, being brought to life with Marion Wyatt's new play streamed from the Cork Arts Theatre, to the queens of today as MTU premiers a screening of Dragging Up the Past. Sarah Morey Arts Officer with MTU told us about this brand new documentary film about Cork's Drag Queens. David Syme joined us to talk about streaming a special Valentine's Concert from his home and to tell us the joyful news that his piano has been saved! And Conor chatted with writer and director Paddy O Shea about the love story of WBYeats and Maud Gonne, which Cork's Bó Media is bringing to life on TG4 on Wednesday night.
