There is something really cleansing and powerful in the monotony of the mundane. We see in scripture it was a place men and women of the bible were taken to between one extreme change to another. Soldiers often find it after coming home from war. Graduates after graduation, prisoners after prison. It's the rest area along the highway to the city of our destination. If we don't meet God there how we are suppose to, we will never be able to embrace a new life, in Christ. True renewal is found in trusting God in the monotony of the mundane.
