Matt is the lead pastor at Pinon Community Church in Farmington, NM. He's sits with me at Better Homes & Garden Real Estate/ Golden Door, in the under construction, revitalizing project of  our downtown. This is the first in my series "Churches & COVID" and Matt is who I chose to kick off the series for a number of reasons, first, I considered him my "lead" pastor. Its the church I attend most. He talks about getting into the ministry, his calling if you will. How he copes with not having people in the pews and struggling with even keeping the staff on payroll and the doors open. The shift to online broadcasting and how much he believes his is doing exactly what he is being called to do.  I love and respect his passion and I think you will as well. 

Next I will continue my series on declining local radio programming with Dave Schaefer. He and I worked together years ago and he is the latest product of downsizing.
