In today's episode Sam and I had the chance to interview Farris Khouri. Farris is Vice President and Co-Founder of Mocina Coffee, Key Account Manager at Hillcrest Food Services, and has helped run the family restaurant, Gourme Deli & Restaurant, his whole life. 

We discussed the concept of failing fast and how him and his business partner Pablo, had many different innovations and businesses before landing on coffee. A reoccuring theme that Farris mentioned was "know when you are lucky," with creating the company Mocina. 

Furthermore we talked about Farris' attitude and mentality working at the family restaurant his whole life and how those days when he was young translated to success later in life. He also talked about the importance of experiences and how one can never get time back, but one can get money back. We also dove into the topics of money and investments. 

All in all, Farris attitude is to take care of what needs taken care of and this episode shows that.

On today's episode of the Bridge Podcast, we were joined by Travis Richey. Travis is an entrepreneur, advisor and motivational speaker. Early on his career though he was sentenced to 2 years in prison, where he states that those 17,520 hours changed his new mission and purpose in life. He stated that some mistakes are life's greatest teachers and that is what occurred. Travis is now owner of AccomplishED Ventures, where their mission is "to fight recidivism and address the social problems of mass incarceration by providing the incarcerated population and returned citizens the real-world skills needed to succeed." 

In this episode we discuss solving pain points and turning a mess into a message. Travis also discussed how to bring hope in any situation. We also looked at reengering purpose in one's life and not letting one's current circumstances dictate their destination. Richey also dove into how he had to have complete 100% faith in God with the hand he was dealt. Enjoy!
