Deida Massey was working in law when she realized her dream was to be a makeup artist in TV and film, so she made a sharp turn and hasn't looked back since. Deida has gone on to work with a variety of celebrities as well as film (Divergent, Candyman) and TV (all seasons of Chicago Fire), start the non-profit Reel Beauty to empower young girls in Chicago and Tanzania, and a botanical made-to-order lipstick line called Bixa Beauty.

Deida sat down with Juliya to talk about chasing your dreams in spite of fear and doubt, finding opportunities everywhere, and being open to receiving abundance. They both want you to know that you have what it takes to chase your dreams.
