This week, we take a look at the role of hope in Christianity.
Below are a few links to the polls cited in the episode:
- Marist College conducted a poll in December of 2021 that showed only 49% of Americans were more optimistic than pessimistic about the world going into 2022; that was the lowest number they had seen in this poll since Marist started conducting it in 2009.
- An Ipsos poll from the beginning of this year found that 7 in ten Americans saw the country in crisis, at risk of failing.
- A Gallup poll taken in February measured the happiness of Americans. Just 38% said they were satisfied across 29 different measurements.
