We will be talking about Apostle Paul!

Girl I did not know who he was either! I am just going to be honest.

I knew who Jesus, Mary, I heard about Daniel, Ruth and Esther and the only reason I knew who Joseph was because Disney made a movie.

Do not be ashamed of what you don’t know! You open up your Bible and start to read.

Paul has to be one of my favorites in the BIble. Why?

  • Because of his boldness
  • His confidence
  • He was never afraid to face an issue head on
  • He did not really care of what others had to say, he was here to do God’s work

Paul used to be called Saul.

Saul was a Christian killer.

He was on his way to Demascus to arrest anyone who believed in Christ

Bible Scripture Acts 9:3

As he was approaching Damascus on this mission, a light from heaven suddenly shone down around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?”

He was then blind for 3 days and did not eat or drink. He was then healed by Ananias. Saul then started to preach about Jesus. He tried to meet with believers but they were afraid to meet with him because he used to kill Christians!

It is not until you get to Acts 13:9 where Saul is called Paul.

Read Acts 9-13 to get more details.

I am going to quote a few verses just so you can hear his boldness:

  1. Romans 9:20
  2. Romans 11:19
  3. Romans 12:3
  4. 2nd Corinthians 11:19
  5. Galatinas 1:10
  6. Galatians 6:3

I want you to open up your Bibles and read the verses I gave you and start taking notes.

A note for God Segment:

God I want to pray for families today. I want to pray for the husbands so they get clarity and create a vision for their families. I want to pray for the wives so they get wisdom and seek you for answer. I want to pray for their children … may you always watch over them and cover them. That they pray as a family every day and teach their kids about the love of God.

I am ending the episode with Matthew 25:23

Because when I close my eyes in this world and open up my eyes to see God, my father, I want Him to reach His hand out to me and say Well done, good and faithful servant!
