The Sermon on the Mount contains lots of teaching about the kingdom of God. When Jesus taught the Lords Prayer He taught His disciples how to pray - it was an invitation for the kingdom to come.
In this message Pastor Paul teaches us three things happen when the Kingdom of God comes to your life.
- Your Allegiance Changes. In the time it takes to blink an eye we are transferred/transported out of darkness into light went we are born again. We are delivered from the powers of darkness and transported into the Kingdom of Light in an instant. We are citizens of the kingdom of God BUT more - we are ambassadors of the Kingdom.
- Your destination & destiny changes. Your destiny and destination are linked and both are changed. Where God will take you will change because you are a citizen of the King.
- Your Values Change. The Kingdom of God works differently than other kingdoms. God sets a high priority on serving. When we serve God we open up possibilities that are otherwise closed. You find hidden talents and new abilities that help you go to the next level in your life. We are all called to serve.
