To make wise decisions, God says: 

1. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee - v. 3 (23:17, 18)
2. Lean not unto thine own understanding - v. 5
3. Lust not after her beauty in thine heart - 6:25
4. Labour not to be rich - 23:4
5. Look not thou upon the wine when it is red - 23:31
6. Lay not wait against the dwelling of the righteous - 24:15
