Emerging from Hampton Park in Melbourne's outer suburbs, HP Boyz are one of the country's most charismatic hip-hop crews. Their first trio of singles - 'Blueprint', 'Engineers' and 'Bad N Bouj' - placed them (and their signature mullets) firmly at the forefront of Australia's rap renaissance, leading to sold-out shows along the East Coast and in New Zealand. They followed it up with the '6 To The World' EP in 2020, which charted confidently in the Top 10 on the Australian & New Zealand charts. We speak to HP Boyz about their artistic progression, how they overcame their confidence issues, and their love of the Melbourne underground scene.
