Mike, Nate, and Jessica continue their series on female saints and people on the path to sainthood with St. Hildegard Von Bingen, one of our newest saints and a Doctor of the Church who has been on the Church calendar since the 16th century.  We talk about her life, how she was a known saint but was only canonized by Pope Benedict XVI (so he could name her a Doctor of the Church,) how she was good at everything and even is considered to be the founder of scientific natural history in Germany, as well as her many surviving chants, mortality play, that she invented her own language, documented many medical practices that others of the time did not, her preaching, and things that are named for her.
