4 How would they have understood the text?

5 What are the major Biblical themes running through the book?

6 Are your definitions consistent with that word throughout scripture?

7 Have all the figures of speech been identified?

8 Have you allowed the clear passages to interpret the unclear passages?

9 Is your conclusion supported throughout the entire Bible narrative?

10 Have you allowed for the cultural-historical backdrop?
