The work of missions is changing in the 21st century. With most of the framework “to the ends of the earth” nearly complete, the process of “filling” now takes priority. As we draw nearer to Christ’s return, churches and Christians now bear the greater responsibility in missions work and not just those crossing to unknown cultures. Today’s sermon renews the timeless call to followers of Jesus Christ to not be apathetic, but to maintain a constant attitude of preparedness in doing the right things as God’s missional community to reach the world. There are two main claims about the resurrection, either Jesus truly resurrected or it was a story made up by the disciples as ordered by the chief priests for the guards to spread, and the only thing that Christians must do today for the lie to continue spreading, is to remain silent about it. The book of Proverbs contains godly wisdom. What wisdom does it want to give to us, to pass on to our future generation? Let us learn from it together.

Today, Christians all around the world are celebrating the Pentecost.What is the Pentecost? Its direct translation means 50th, but for Christians, it is a celebration on the 50th day after the resurrection of Jesus. It is also a celebration of the first fruits of wheat harvest; thus it is also called the feast of harvest. Additionally, it is called the feast of weeks as this feast starts seven weeks after the second day of Passover. Why should we celebrate the Pentecost? What is the true purpose of the Pentecost? The Pentecost reminds us of harvest time and the 120 believers who were the first fruits of what will be a great harvest for the kingdom of God. The Corinthian church is being plagued by these “super-apostles”, who are trying to discredit Paul, so that they can manipulate the believers into following them. They boast about their supernatural “spiritual experiences” to impress the believers and to win their trust; but Paul has something to say about this. He, too, has something to boast about, but it will not be in his supernatural encounters with God. What is it that is worth boasting about for Paul? Let’s find out together. The book of Lamentations, although a part of OT prophetic books, is not actually a book that tells about prophecy. Instead, it is a compilation of poetic writings that serves as a reflection to a prophecy fulfilled - the destruction of Jerusalem, God’s Holy City. The old covenant in Exodus was made between God and those who had not previously known him. In Jeremiah, the new (renewed) covenant was given to those who had already known God but sinned against him. People have a tendency to abandon the Lord in difficult times, which is not a wise thing to do. Throughout history, from Genesis (the first book of the Bible) to Revelations (the last book of the Bible), God’s heart has been to bless all creation and to enjoy His fellowship forever. Today we will look at the Bible and discover how God’s promise to bless the nations through Israel serves as a motivation for us to make God’s heartbeat our priority.

James, being one of the first pastors of the Church, knows the problem of an action inconsistent with its faith. But he also knows the trouble with a tongue inconsistent with its faith. In fact, he addressed it right smack in the middle of his letter which was addressed to the scattered churches all over the world. What troubles can our tongues cause and how can we control it?
雅各书只有五章，却用将近一章的篇幅来谈勒住舌头的重要性。作者在第一章就说过，真正虔诚的人必须勒住自己的舌头(雅 1:26)。第三章更是多加发挥：「原来我们在许多事上都有过失；若有人在话语上没有过失，他就是完全人，也能勒住自己的全身；舌头在百体裏也是最小的，却能说大话。」(雅 3:2,5) 舌头虽小，它的影响力、破坏力却很大，好像火一样，可见要在话语上没有过失，需要自己谨守，再加上上帝的帮助。
聖經學者Lehman Strauss認為雅各第三章「是解決當今教會生活中大多數問題/弊病的關鍵。」 我們也可以進一步的說，這也是解決當今我們家庭中大多數問題的關鍵。我們要時常求上帝幫助我們制伏可怕的舌頭！

The story just keeps getting darker and darker in the book of Judges. The problem? Not the Midianites, nor the Philistines. It's the Israelites. Is there a happy ending in this passage? The Israelites have once again done evil in the eyes of God.
They have not learned their lesson and kept on committing the same mistakes.
But God keeps on forgiving them because that is who God is.
So today God chose to use Deborah to save His people as they cried out for help.
The message today aims to move us all to obedience and to be courageous when God calls.

Judges 2 warns us that rebellion against God has consequences. “Apathy” towards God leads to “abandonment” of God and ends in “alienation” from God. God is not mocked. You reap what you sow. Where can we find hope amidst seemingly unending despair and desperation? The book of Isaiah ends with a picture of eternal hope for the people of God to encourage them to hold on to God's promises even in oppression and exile which is rooted in their own disobedience.
As the remnant people return to their ruined homes and are trying to rebuild their lives, God gives them a glimpse of a glorious future that awaits them. A time when they will no longer be despised and oppressed by other nations, but instead be served and desired. How can this be possible and when will all this come to pass? Let us find out together.
Isaiah 53 clearly described the work of salvation in the life of Christ, a prediction that happened after 700 years. This is the heart of God’s salvation for sinners through Christ’s sacrifice.

Isaiah 31 gives us two options for help and deliverance, one is false while the other, the right one. Instead of putting our allegiance on people for help, let us show that our security and deliverance lies only in trusting God for His guidance and power.

How is Jesus a more worthy King to follow than any leader or government in ancient history and even to this day? What does it mean for you and me that He is our King who shall reign both now and forevermore?

The job of God's prophets is never easy. To many, they are perceived as bearers of bad news. It is because God usually tasks them to call out the sins of his people. Such is the message delivered by the prophet Isaiah to the leaders and people of Judah. But is it really bad news when God reveals our sins? May we learn today how should we respond when God seems silent to our circumstances.

今天我們要來看詩篇第三篇。它是一首哀歌的詩篇。是詩人面對逆境，甚至絕望的境遇，向上帝發出絕望的呼聲，哀求上帝拯救的禱告，最終當作者到上帝面前，以堅信的禱告，安然的交托，他就能抬頭挺胸面對困難。
We all have this fear of what the future might hold for us. Where everything seems so uncertain. But despite this, God gives Zechariah a message about the future, a message of hope and certainty. Together, let us learn what this message is and what it means for us today.

When Jesus comes again one day there will be no more wars, no more pain and no more suffering. For when our Lord and Savior comes peace will reign from sea to sea.

God sent the prophet Zechariah to the post-exilic Jews who were struggling to get back on their feet. Let us learn what God has to say to them, so that we may know how to respond to God's warnings for us today.
上帝从不会厌弃悔改者的眼泪，也不会拒绝堕落者在罪恶深渊中的求救，纵使你被人离弃，上帝依旧接纳；哪怕你再次流浪，只要你还能悔改，上帝依旧会向你张开接纳的双臂。上帝能恢复你在罪恶中失去的恩典，也能在你悔改的路上返还你失落的恩赐。

最後保羅提到屬靈爭戰這一層面去。因為基督徒活在世上不是只有肉体層面，物質層面的生活，還有屬靈層面的生活，而且這屬靈層面的事，往往影響日常生活最深。保羅希望基督徒在這末後的世代能好好的打屬靈的仗過爭戰得勝的生活。
基督徒的家庭应该是一个圣灵充满的家庭，这样的家庭中每个人都要被圣灵充满。圣灵会引导我们看到福音的大能是怎样运行在我们的家庭中。同时让耶稣基督的生命来影响我们家庭中的每一个角色。
有人說，人是一段「成為」的旅程。基督徒生命的旅程也是這樣，成為神要我們達成的，也就是在主裏長大成人。 你目前屬靈的光景如何？你是否今天比昨天強壯？或仍然是屬靈的嬰孩？
Someone said, “Human being is a journey of becoming”. Our Christian journey is the same, too. We become what God wants us to be, that is, to grow into Christ-like maturity. How is your spiritual life today? Are you stronger than yesterday? Or are you still a spiritual baby?

In the grand scheme of things, God commands us and sets us up to share the gospel to everyone so others could know about Jesus -His life, death and resurrection…
His teachings… and His salvation… God will advance the gospel no matter what situation. What seem to us as a setback… is actually God's set-up. God will open the doors!

During the most difficult, the most demanding and the most dangerous times in history, Christians did not and should not cower in fear nor be conquered by fatigue but be challenged in faith to love as Jesus loved - compassionately, practically and sacrificially. Passage: 2 Samuel 24:18-25 Just as there is a cost for disobedience, there is also a cost for forgiveness. We have already seen the consequences of David's sin in his life and his people. And as we close the book of 2 Samuel, let us look at David's offering in response to his sin. Was the Lord pleased with his sacrifice?
Let us find out together, and hopefully, we will also learn to offer sacrifices pleasing to our Lord.

Even being known as the man after God’s own heart and the ideal king of the Israelites, David was not perfect. He committed many offenses against his own people and against God. The second half of 2 Samuel recorded the consequences of his actions. His position and his special relationship with God did not exempt him from facing all these consequences. 今天，我們要來看一個很熟悉的聖經故事，是男女老少都很喜愛的聖經記載：即是大衛與歌利亞的故事。許多人所看到的是一位居下風的人 (underdog) 反敗為勝的故事。但實際上，這是記載一位依靠上帝的人，用信心而經歷到上帝帶領他勝過看似不可能勝過的歌利亞。同樣我們也可以依靠上帝來面對我們生命中的「歌利亞」。
到底大卫的生命中有些什么特质，是上帝特别欣赏的呢？上帝看见大卫一些什么长处，以致上帝喜悦他呢？上帝说大卫是合祂心意的人，那么大卫有什么吸引上帝的地方，有什么特点让上帝对他有这样的描述呢？事实上，我们读大卫的生平，我们看见大卫的生命，也有不少的瑕疪和缺点，他曾经犯罪得罪上帝，而且所犯的是大罪，他叛逆上帝，做了上帝所禁止的事。然而，上帝好像忘记了大卫的缺点，只看见他的优点，因而称他为“合上帝心意的人”。是否大卫的优点盖过了他的缺点，以致上帝可以完全接纳大卫，不计较他曾经犯过的错呢？
Life, whether you are a believer or not is full of choices. Every single day we face many situations where we need to make a choice. But what is your basis when making a choice or a decision? Are you making a decision base on familiarity or are you making a decision base on what you feel is right? Or perhaps your decision is based on what the majority says is their preference?
As a believer, one thing that makes us different from other people is that you and I were sealed by the Holy Spirit the moment you and I accepted Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.
You and I have something more than conscience. We have the Holy Spirit, who is acknowledged as the Counselor, the Guide. Yes, we are free to make choices, but rather than being free just to make choices or what we prefer, why not make choices based on what is right that comes from the guidance of the Holy Spirit?
Our message today, challenges you and me in this time of uncertainty and pandemic to look back and check ourselves on how we make decisions in life. And the best decision always comes from the will of God.
Being aligned with the will of God is the BEST. As the Scripture says, the will of God is good, acceptable and perfect. Let us seek the Lord while he can still be found. The best is yet to come in our lives when we start to learn how to choose according to the will of God.
「要顺服」这句话是人人不想听的话。无论是从父母，或是从学校老师、从上司、老板、政府、甚至从上帝而来的时候，我们常听而不闻。
顺服上帝是圣经中时常出现的课题，以勉励上帝的子民务必服从。从这段经文可以看到扫罗因不顺服而带来的惨剧，真是前车可鉴。
Saul's reign as Israel's king started strong, but it didn't end well. Halfway through his reign he was already rejected by God and was destined to be replaced. But what was the cause of his downfall? Why was he rejected by God? Let us continue our journey through the story of Israel's first king, and together learn to avoid Saul's mistakes and know what matters most to God.
「要順服」這句話是人人不想聽的話。無論是從父母，或是從學校老師、從上司、老闆、政府、甚至從上帝而來的時候，我們常聽而不聞。
順服上帝是聖經中時常出現的課題，以勉勵上帝的子民務必服從。從這段經文可以看到掃羅因不順服而帶來的慘劇，真是前車可鑒。

在我们庆祝农历新年辞旧迎新之际，我们再思“以便以谢”：回顾过往，我们定会说出“以便以谢”的见证；展望未来，我们定会坚信“以便以谢”的应许；反思自己，我们定会牢记“以便以谢”的提醒。愿上帝祝福我们每一个人，在新的一年中，更深地理解“以便以谢”，切切实实地经历上帝的帮助！
Ebenezer, which means “Till now the Lord has helped us.” reminds us of how God has helped His people throughout history; it also assures us that God will still help us, the people of God, in this generation and in the future.
没有异象，民就放肆！当耶和华的选民徒有宗教的敬虔，却无圣洁的生命时，神会任凭其选民任意而为，但最终藐视耶和华的人都要为着罪付上代价。而神会拣选忠心的仆人去牧养其子民，因为神所要的是他的子民用圣洁、顺服、敬畏的心来侍奉他。

Todays message is about trusting God in the midst of our trials in life.
So when life doesn't make sense, we have to keep on trusting Him.
『耶和华是我的牧者』–神赐给我们的是一份「关系Relationship」，
而不是一个「宗教Religion」！

What are your expectations for the new year? Will this be a good year? Will it still be a year of COVID? Will the economy and people's lives of our country prosper? What are your wishes for your family and career? We all hope that this year will be better than last year. Can we, as Christian, look forward to a better year? YES, YES, and YES. Because our God is our good shepherd who loves us and He will lead us through. That's the message of Psalm 23.
Although Psalm 23 is a short psalm with six verses, it has helped many people; transformed the lives of believers; comforted the brokenhearted; strengthened the weak, and gave hope to the hopeless. For our God is the good shepherd, who takes care of us, and guides our footsteps amidst challenging times.
『耶和華是我的牧者』–神賜給我們的是一份「關係Relationship」，
而不是一個「宗教Religion」！

十字架的道路是一条充满挑战的道路，甚至充满逼迫患难。但在赛程的终点有荣耀的冠冕给我们存留，有复活的救主耶稣为我们鼓掌，有历代的信心伟人在为我们喝彩。亲爱的弟兄姊妹，让我们与昔日的希伯来信徒共同领受从神来的提醒与鼓励，在这条信心旅程中不忘自己神儿女的荣耀身份，正视属灵管教对我们的意义。让我们一起仰望那位信心的创造者和完成者耶稣基督，仰望他带给我们的盼望，去向着十字架的标杆勇敢直奔。
本书的读者是当时受逼迫的犹太基督徒，这群犹太基督徒很有可能住在耶路撒冷、犹太地区，也可能寄居在外地。他们是因相信耶稣基督遭受了很重的逼迫，他们可能遭受犹太教人的逼迫，也可能是住在外地的犹太基督徒遭受罗马人的逼迫，以至有人灰心失望、信心动摇，想停止聚会，有的基督徒想回到犹太教的信仰体系中去。所以作者写信鼓励犹太的基督徒不要灰心，存勇敢的心在福音的真道上站立得稳。

當你看到惡人和狂傲人事事如意，得享平安。不像別人受苦，遭災。他們有錢有勢，身體強壯，他們的眼睛因體胖而凸出；他們所得的，過於心裏所想的。同時反觀敬畏神的人（包括自己）卻是時時遇難碰壁，你會不會向神發出怨嘆，質疑神的慈愛與主權，以致陷入困境裏？如何從這陰影裏走出來呢？如何從困擾得釋放？
人的被造是为了荣耀神，而使徒保罗在罗马书说人人都犯了罪亏缺了神的荣耀。大卫这个罪人怎么又是合神心意的人呢？答案是当他以不断悔改的心诚实地面对神，求神赦免自己的罪时，他是一个合神心意的人。因为过犯得蒙赦免，罪恶得到遮盖的人，是有福的。心里没有诡诈，耶和华不算为有罪的，这人是有福的。大卫不是一个完美的人，但他却有忧伤痛悔的心。愿我们一起真诚地在上帝面前为着自己的罪悔改，求主帮助我们作一个合神心意的人。

詩篇第八篇是大衛所寫很美的一首詩，學者都認為這可能是詩人大衛最早的作品。當他在牧放羊群時，舉目望天看到大自然，就想到偉大的創造者，耶和華上帝。當他進一步思想，便想到：人的渺小，算不了甚麼，卻得蒙偉大的神無微不至的關心看顧。因此就從他心靈的深處發出驚奇的感嘆與讚美。
讓我們從這一首詩篇一起思想偉大的神怎樣眷顧渺小的人。求主從這首詩讓我們曉得雖然處在恐懼不安的環境中，神沒有離棄我們，祂仍然眷顧你和我。

In 1 Corinthians 15:3, Paul refers to the Gospel "as of first importance." This means that it is priority number one. The Gospel of Christ’s death and His resurrection is the foundation upon which everything in our faith is built on. But why is it so important?

The church in Corinth was indeed a troubled church, for even with regards to spiritual gifts they were divided. Because of this, Paul has to remind them that they are ALL members of the body of Christ, each and every single one of them. What does it mean to be part of the Body of Christ? 我們為何需要同心禁食禱告？我們需要天天（一）尋求上帝的榮面；（二）尋求上帝的旨意；這是基督為我們留下的生活榜樣。並且使徒保羅也鼓勵聖徒要合而為一，因為上帝與耶穌基督也是合而為一；我們可以從祂的性格來學習。
你對自由有什麼定義？是否能隨心所欲才是自由？在家隔離是否觸犯你的人權/權利/自由？基督徒是否自由？有些人認為做基督徒不自由，很多事都不可做。
我們都受西方人文主義的影響很大，高舉個人主義；看重個人權利。世界教導我們要爭取，使用個人權利；但聖經注重捨己、放棄自己的權利。聖經告訴我們，凡事都可行，但要以愛為原則，支配我們的行事為人。
我們來看三個很重要的原則，可以應用在生活上所處的任何環境。
在基督里的自由，是罪得赦免
之后的释放和真自由。这个自由是每一个被救赎的基督徒都拥有的。而如何使用这样的自由却是有圣经中的原则和榜样。效法使徒保罗，效法主耶稣，选择放下应得的权利，学习甘心的服侍，操练克己自律的生活。
我们讲自由的权利，更讲耶稣基督十字架上舍己的爱。
As Christians today, we are like athletes in a race. The question is, are we prepared to win the prize?

我們生活在一個蔑視紀律的時代。 許多家庭和學校幾乎缺乏紀律，在教會中也不例外。教會紀律的問題，是歷代教會所必須面臨的一個重要問題。
保羅在林前1-4章談到教會中分爭結黨，不合一的問題。在今天的經文中，保羅談到當時教會很嚴重的問題 – 淫亂。
當淫亂風氣也侵入到教會內，使徒保羅就針對這嚴重的罪來責備那犯罪的人及吩咐教會如何行，才能保持教會的聖潔。

Do you know that some scholars called the book of Corinthians as the “tear-stained letter”? You will know why as you read the book. In I Cor 1:3, The apostle Paul Identified the main reason for the division in this church in Corinth. Like the Corinthian Church, churches today face the same perils and impacts of a divided body. 神的同在，是馬太福音的一個重要信息，祂頒布大使命給教會的同時，祂也應許，要與祂的教會同在。教會的興旺，不單只是事工，活動，人數的增加，最重要的一個指標，就是 神的同在，有人說，教會是 神在地上設立的一個群體，為著是將來天國的彰顯，神的同在，不是一個感覺，神的同在是一個可以具體去實踐的行動。
What a supreme program of actions leading to the supreme goal – make disciples of all nations! Be His disciple is to make disciples for Him!
基督的綱領 為什麼教會要遵行大使命? 除了體會是 神愛世人的心，更重要的從聖經當中看見 神的心意，從創世記開始，神揀選亞伯拉罕，從一個人到一個民族，讓以色列人成為神的子民，但是目的也是透過人，把祂的祝福能延伸出去，透過救贖，人能夠重新恢復與神和好的關係。
马太福音记载的重点是基督是君王，也强调君王的权柄，耶稣有医治的权柄，赶鬼的权柄，行神迹异能的权柄，祂的教训也带有权柄，最后的高峰是基督从死里复活的能力，当我们谈宣教以先要认识，不是我们自己的能力，我们宣教或是传福音的能力，是建立在祂的权柄之上。

虽然环境不好，但我们要喜乐！虽然我们有许多压力，但我们仍然要喜乐！ 要怎么喜乐呢？ 要靠主常常喜乐！ 靠主祷告、祈求和感谢！ 当我们能够带着感恩的心来到神面前，神应许要赐下出人意外的平安与喜乐。
"Rejoice in the Lord always," the apostle Paul tells us. But let's face it. Is it really possible to rejoice in our current predicament, with Covid-19 plaguing us? Maybe Paul was just living in a different situation, an easier time? Let us find out together what is the reason and source of his joy. And hopefully, we can also find true and satisfying joy in the midst of our hardships and sufferings caused by the pandemic.

在利未記23章裏，摩西述說七個重要節期之前，上帝首先提起了每週的安息日。 每週的安息日，比每年七個節期更加神聖。因為在節期中，除了在贖罪日，百姓不能做任何「勞碌」的工 (利未記23: 8, 21,25,35, 36)； 但是在安息日，甚麼工都不可做。為何安息日是那麼重要？身為上帝的百姓，我們當如何看待安息日？如何守安息日？
如果做一个问卷调查的话，利未记可能是弟兄姊妹读的最少的一卷书了!因为有很多种的 献祭，又有各种洁净礼仪、祭司条例，还有很多的宗教节期。看起来有点散乱和生涩，但其实 利未记的框架围绕着一个核心『“你要告诉以色列全体会众，对他们说:你们要分别为圣，因 为我耶和华你们的神是圣洁的。(利 19:2)』无论献祭、节期、祭司条例都是为了要以色列人如 何圣洁地敬拜主，并在进入应许地之后如何继续持守圣洁、过分别为圣的生活。就像我们今天 要谈到的利未记，整卷书都是围绕利未人以及他们如何带领以色列人借助献祭、守节过分别为 圣的生活。
So far, we have looked at how God has made Israel holy through the sacrifice and the priests. But this is not the end. If they are to live with their holy God, they have to reflect this holiness in their everyday lives. How can the people of God put their holiness into action? The Lord's resurrection is a unique event, and it is a true historical event. It has objective evidence as well as subjective experience. Regarding the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, people have different attitude: some people were unable and unwilling to believe; some were slow of heart to believe; some believed wholeheartedly. Knowing that the Lord has resurrected is one thing, believing is another thing, and living out this truth is another thing. From knowing to believing, from believing to living out.
主的復活是件獨特的事件，且是真實的歷史事件。它有客觀的證據，也有主觀的經歷。對於主耶穌的復活，人人持有不同的態度：不能又不肯信；信得太遲鈍了；抑或全心全意相信。 知道主已經復活是一件事，相信又是另一回事，將其所信的真理活出來又是另一回事。要從知道進入相信，從相信活出這信仰。
At the cross, Jesus paid the penalty of our sin He did not owe, and He paid our sins that we could never pay. A payment by the shedding of His blood at the cross to wash our sins away. Indeed, Jesus is the Lamb of God, the perfect sacrifice to reconcile us sinners to a holy God by the shedding of His blood, for without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins.
At the cross, with nail pierced hands between heaven and earth, Jesus intercede to the Father. It was a prayer out of pure love, being concerned for those who are responsible for crucifying him and interceding to forgive them for their souls are in danger of eternal suffering in hell.
Our Lord Jesus gave His life by dying on a cross, once and for all to save us sinners, and prayed to his Father, with genuine love and mercy flowing from His heart saying -- "Father, forgive them." Jesus' prayer on the cross tells us that He made a way and the only way through His sacrifice for God to forgive us and be reconciled to Him.
各位弟兄姐妹晚上平安！今天晚上，我们一起来记念主耶稣为拯救人类而被钉死在十字架上。耶稣的受难，使我们因此而得新生命。我们能够成为上帝的儿女，拥有这样的身份和地位，是因耶稣十字架上的舍命，用祂自己的生命买赎了我们，我们能够坦然无惧来到上帝的施恩座前，仰望、祷告、祈求和感谢，将一切的事情可以向上帝交托。十字架这一记号，显示了上帝对人类的爱。正如使徒保罗在罗马书5：6-8节所说的：“因我们还软弱的时候，基督就按所定的日期为罪人死。为义人死，是少有的；为仁人死，或者有敢作的。惟有基督在我们还作罪人的时候为我们死，神的爱就在此向我们显明了。”
神差祂的獨生子（主耶穌基督）來到世間，離開了榮華富貴的天堂來到一個人類敗壞的世間。祂就與人接觸，要將無價寶貴的救恩賜給相信祂的人。但今天我們有看到主耶穌的目的嗎？祂將天堂帶近到人間，祂將赦罪的恩典臨到人的中間，為要成為每個人的救贖主。祂將最好的（就是祂寶貴完美的生命）獻給你；同時，祂期待你將自己不完全的生命獻給祂。

贖罪日 (Yom Kippur) ，是以色列人所有節期和節日中最神聖，最嚴肅及重要的一天。可以說是全國屬靈的大掃除。這一日，百姓刻苦己心，禁食，認罪禱告，大祭司為百姓獻贖罪祭，使罪得除淨。
這贖罪日的儀式，充滿了屬靈的意義 -- 都指向耶穌基督在十字架上的代贖。祂是上帝的羔羊，背負我們的罪，作了挽回祭，使罪得赦。
In Leviticus, God invites us to share in His holiness through obedience. In obedience, there is joy and life. In disobedience, there is sorrow and death. There are consequences when we disobey. We must learn well to obey. From Leviticus 10, we learn three life-saving lessons on when God says to us "Don't".
As sinful people, we cannot come directly before the LORD's presence. We will be consumed by His immense holiness. Therefore, God established the priestly office to serve as mediators between Him and the rest of His people. Let us learn more about this exclusive office, their exclusive God-given roles, and most importantly, our exclusive great High Priest today.

当我们读完整个利未记的时候，利未记可以分成两段来看，一至十六章，是讲到整个献祭的做法和敬拜的方式，是透过献祭和节期告诉以色列人如何来敬拜神;从十七章一直到二十七章，则是讲到一个敬拜神的人应该用什么方式过生活，就是要过一个分别为圣的生活，好见证神的同在。如果我们连怎么敬拜神都不知道，又要如何过一个讨神喜悦、合神心意的生活呢？ 我们要按照神的心意来敬拜，而不是按照人的想法来敬拜，因为很多时候人对神的热心是好的，但做法却跟神的心意完全相反。 为什么我们要敬拜？从以色列人的角度来说，敬拜是为了神的同在。
Leviticus is among the least favorite books in the Bible. Many cannot relate nor understand the rituals and practices prescribed in the book. But at the heart of this very important book is God's most important attribute - His holiness. And it points us to the solution for humanity's greatest dilemma - How can sinful creation live in the midst of their holy Creator? Let us dive in the book of Leviticus together and find out how.

聖經是我們生命的路標指示我們方向， 教導我們如何行事為人，其中包括一些警戒。使徒保羅在林前10章述說舊約的記載時說到：v11「他們遭遇這些事都要作為鑑戒，並且寫在經上，正是警戒我們這末世的人。」

以色列人的失败
书七 1-15
艾城之战的失败，使以色列人倍感失望。哪知：耶利哥城胜利之时，罪恶潜入，埋下了失败的种子。以色列是归神为圣的国民，神岂能允许他们仍在罪中使恩典显多呢？他们务要除尽罪恶，专心仰赖耶和华，不依靠自己的智慧聪明。为以色列争战的神，不但能帮助百姓胜过外在敌人，更要帮助他们胜过里面的仇敌。以色列人虽然失败，但耶和华永远得胜。

運用信心時就有風險。每個人在日常生活中都在運用信心。如：注射疫苗會有副作用嗎？做生意會賺錢或虧本？婚姻會不會幸福？兒女將來會孝順嗎？
信仰更是一種冒險，因有關將來的去處，來生將會如何。身為基督徒，我們所相信的是真實嗎？我們也正處在信心的冒險中。
今天早上我們要來看喇合這傳奇的人物。她因信耶和華上帝而從妓女的出身得著新的生命，成為上帝的選民，更成為耶穌基督的祖先之一。因為她以單純的信心來回應上帝。她證實了信靠上帝不是冒險，而是最穩定，最確定的。
大约3500年前当以色列人离开埃及为奴之家时，是踏上了一条自由之路，同时也是一条征战之路。在经过了四十年的旷野漂流后，如今以色列人到了耶和华应许赐给亚伯拉罕的流奶与蜜之地，只是要得到这土地还要经过一些征战。约书亚在得到神的鼓励和人的支持之下，他开始要为渡河作战做一件重要的事，这件事就是整个第二章叙述的两个探子渡河侦察记。这段叙事中约书亚不是主角，两个探子也不是主角，他们的侦察遇险、得救、逃脱、回报都是凸显出妓女喇合的信心。喇合大胆的行为是因为她相信40年间耶和华在以色列人身上的作为，相信祂就是那一位天上、地下的神。
Truly, God works in mysterious ways. There are no limits to what He can do. Things that comes as a surprise to us, are ordinary to Him. This is what the Israelites will experience as they sent spies to Canaan in preparation for their invasion. They will find out that even before they enter the Promised Land, God was already there -- moving and using the unlikeliest of individuals as a sign that He has fulfilled His promise.
弟兄姐妹新年快乐，新年蒙恩。当我们回头看2020年是非常特别的一年，我们经历过从来没有经历过的事情。但另一方面我们也经历过我们没有经历过的上帝的恩典。而且是超乎所求所想的恩典。我们就像圣经所说，我们经过水火，但我们经历了在水火中上帝与我们同在的恩典。圣经告诉我们的上帝是独行奇事的真神。
新的一年，虽然疫情还没有结束，面对前面的道路还有很多不确定，但是我们的上帝是掌管历史的主，祂应许我们这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利。我岂没有吩咐你吗？你当刚强壮胆！不要惧怕，也不要惊惶，因为你无论往哪里去，耶和华你的神必与你同在。”
It is now 2021. A new year full of new opportunities, but at the same time, full of challenges and uncertainties as well. The same situation where Joshua and the Israelites were in. But the LORD calls Joshua to be strong and courageous, for He will fulfill His promise to them. Let us find out how God wants us to be strong and courageous, and how can we find strength and courage through these uncertain times.

2020 is full of fear, anxiety, and uncertainty. Covid 19 has disrupted people's lives. God’s goodness and blessings is evident in spite of the pandemic, and God is still in control. Although there are many unknowns as we face the new year: When will the vaccine be available? Does it really work? What will our life be like? Let us hold on to the promise of God: He will lead us on the way we should go. Just as God leads the Israelites into the land of abundance in Joshua 3, He will surely leads us forward into 2021.
你们要称谢耶和华因祂是...善良之神、万神之神、万主之主
詩 篇 136 : 1 - 3 1 你们要称谢耶和华，因他本为善；他的慈爱永远长存。

Our God never breaks His promises. Isaiah 40:31 says, “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength…” Another one can be found in Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” We can trust God’s promises whatever our circumstance. Continue to trust Him as we see the end of this difficult year and start 2021 with gratitude to God in our hearts. #LightOfHope
When Christ was born, a new star rose and pointed the way to Him. Wise men from the East, who were astronomers – whether by profession or as a hobby – saw this new star and realized it was a special star. It wasn’t part of any pattern that they have observed. Their ancient texts might have referred to this star as the symbol of one who will be born king of the Jews. They decided to see this king, this #LightOfHope of the Jews. These wise men prepared for a long journey and traveled until they reached Jerusalem. Listen to Rev. William Jonathan Ong as he tells us what happened next.

出埃及記這本書記載以色列人蒙上帝拯救，脫離為奴之家，在曠野的旅途中，上帝為著要他們成為天國的子民，祭司的國度，就賜給他們律法訓練，塑造他們。百姓卻鑄了金牛犢來代替上帝，惹上帝的憤怒。摩西的代求帶來上帝的赦免與帶領。

十条诫命是以色列人分别为圣生活的律法总纲，他涵盖了人与神的关系以及人与人的关系。 前四条诫命强调了人与神的关系，后六条强调了人与人的关系。但耶和华不是仅仅告诉摩西这几句话，其实从 20-24 章的内容都是一个赐下诫命、与人立下圣约的过程。在十诫之外，还有 宗教法例、敬拜规则、民事法律等诸多的诫命。 今天我们把重点放在前四诫上。前四诫命强调 了神人之间的关系，神的属性以及人应该如何认识神，及敬拜神。
Cultural, social, and religious norms vary with the #ChangingTimes. Women used to wear clothing which covered their whole bodies. Parents used to arrange marriages for their children. It was considered imperative to go to church on Sundays. These practices are passé now. What has remained the same throughout the centuries are the Bible and God’s commandments. George Mϋeller was a missionary in England who took in more than 10,000 children into the orphanages he established in the 1800s. He never asked for funds to support his orphanages; he relied solely on God’s provision to meet the needs of his orphanages. There had been times when Mϋeller, his wife, and his staff had nothing to serve the orphans for their next meal. Mϋeller didn’t waste time grumbling. He continued to pray and thank God for the food they would eat – and God sends the food in miraculous ways.

Psalm 23
There are times when we feel like we’re on top of the world – when we achieve success, when we tick off a destination in our bucket list, when we celebrate a milestone in our lives. There are also times when we feel like we have fallen so far down and we don’t know how to get up and go on with our lives. We ask, “Why am I in this situation? Why would God allow this to happen?” Psalm 23 gives us the answer.

今天我们的经文就是诗篇 150 篇,这篇诗是整卷诗篇的最后一篇,也是诗篇结尾的高潮。因为有学者就把最后 5 篇称之为大哈利路亚诗篇,从 146 篇开始到 150篇结束每首的开始和结尾都是你们要赞美耶和华!整个诗篇里充满了上帝的故事以及以色列民族的历史。从诗篇第一篇开始就把有福的人生和灭亡的人生做了一个对比,生死祸福在于你选择走义人的道路还是走恶人的道路。一直到最后一篇你们要赞美耶和华,这告诉我们一个顺服神愿意走蒙福道路的人,一定是一个赞美耶和华的人。所以,赞美主对于每一位弟兄姊妹来说是我们生命中重要的属灵功课。赞美主绝不止于教会主日崇拜前的一些诗歌颂赞,那是赞美吗?是的,但赞美更指向一个信靠神的人一生所要持守的信仰方向和态度。赞美不止是歌唱,赞美是时时称颂耶和华的名,赞美是日日为主而活。
诗篇 150 篇只有 6 节经文,但其中提到赞美主就有 13 次之多。可见作为整卷诗篇的结束,要强调的最重要的重点就是你们要赞美耶和华。如果用一个主题来分享这篇经文那就是“赞美的人生”。让我们从经文中来看我们应该在哪里赞美耶和华?为何要赞美耶和华?如何赞美耶和华?以及谁该来赞美耶和华?

詩篇的編輯以詩篇第1，2篇做爲引言，介紹整券詩篇的主旨：有福的人就是晝夜思想耶和華的律法和仰望彌賽亞的人。第一篇以有福的人開始，第二篇以有福為結束。
詩篇第一篇歸類為智慧的詩篇，教導我們如何成為上帝眼中有福的人。這裏給我們看到兩種人；兩種生活道路及兩種結局。
诗篇 1 : 1 - 6
弟兄姐妹们主日平安！感谢神的带领，从九月份我们教会开始来一起学习诗篇，说到诗篇，我们会马上想到祷告、敬拜、想到我们该怎么跟上帝说话、跟上帝沟通。大部分圣经的信息都在讲述上帝怎么对祂的百姓说话，好让上帝的百姓认识祂、认识人、认识他们该怎么互动；可是诗篇很不一样，诗篇是人对上帝说话，透过这些诗人所写的诗，我们认识人所认识的上帝是谁，更重要的是认识诗人是怎么样的人，特别是诗人的信在当时是怎样的情况。透过诗人跟上帝的对话、祷告、让我们更知道人该怎么跟上帝来往。
读诗篇不只要让我们认识诗人的上帝，更是要透过诗人认识我们自己是怎么样的一个人。宗教改革家加尔文告诉我们，诗篇是人灵魂的解剖学，在诗篇我们可以更深地认识到底人是怎么一回事。读撒母耳记上下，我们认识了大卫，不过，诗篇里的大卫，让我们可以从很不一样的角度来认识他。在撒母耳记上下，我们读到的是大卫这个人的外在，读诗篇我们会读到大卫这个人的心。我们的心要跟上帝的心连在一起，心对了，我们才可能遇见上帝。
Psalm 1
COVID-19 has stripped away all that is unnecessary in our lives. We now live simply, so we should be happy, right? What does happiness truly mean?
约翰福音21:15-23使徒约翰总是从生命的角度来带领我们思考和成长。生活吃饭的问题靠主来解决，而不是靠自己所谓熟悉的事业。就像彼得他们劳累了一夜并没有打着鱼，最终是耶稣给他们预备了早餐。我们都知道人活着不是单靠食物，所以我们不仅会遇到食物的问题，更会遇到生命的问题。而在我看来人生命中最大的事，就是要起来爱主!
約21:15-23
主耶穌被賣的那一夜，彼得曾經做了一件難以置信的事 ––– 三次否認他的主。主耶穌復活之後，在提比哩亞海邊，挽回彼得，重建彼得，使他能從失敗，灰心中再次站起來。這對彼得可以說是一個轉捩點。
主耶穌如何幫助、建立彼得，祂也同樣要幫助建立我們。

John 15 : 1 - 8
It’s now nearing the end of August. Who would have thought we would still be in quarantine a few months before Christmas? We are holding on, and praying that this difficult situation would end soon. We know that we need to hold on to Jesus Christ, but we wonder how we can endure this seemingly endless new normal situation.
当我们提到家这个概念的时候，通过传统文化层面有这样的解读。图 1 中国文字家的含义是一个房子底下有一头猪。这代表了农业社会时期，人们对于家的最基本的期望，有个房子可以遮风挡雨，有头猪代表食物充足。
前一段时间有位牧师送了我一个家庭主题的印章，上面用英文刻着两行字， 翻译过来就是「家就是家人聚在一起，并在一起祷告」这句话把家这个字的含义更加向圣经价值观靠拢，让我们看到家人在一起除了要有温饱，有团聚以外，更重要的还要在一起祷告。祷告是向我们信靠的上帝说话，跟上帝透过祈求、代求建立亲密的关系。换句话说今天祷告，就像是旧约献祭一样，是人献给神的祭物。
家庭是神在創世開始設立的。所以沒有人可否認家庭很重要。無論屬主或不是，家庭是社會最基本的單位，也是個人成長最適宜的環境。所以要達到一個蒙福的家是不簡單。但是聖經很早就讓我們知道了，教我們怎樣達到神所賜福的家庭。
雖然人人都想要看到自己的家是快樂的，但是，都是用自己的方法去做，很少人願意遵從神的方法去達到。
We sometimes feel that God does not hear us, that He doesn’t care, because we are feeling anxious and hopeless. But the Bible tells us that we should “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.” (James 1:2-3) “Huh?” might be our reaction. We feel anxious and hopeless, and God tells us to count trials as joy?
What values are important to your family? Truthfulness, obedience, keeping your word? Or, loyalty, serving one another, and doing what is right? These are some values each family considers important. However, are we living out these values? Do we teach them to our children, yet fail to do them?
犹太人有一个故事，提到一位拉比给他的学生考试，题目是怎么样才能证明黑夜已尽，白日将至。第一个学生说：“当我们能清楚分辨远处的牲畜，说出牠是牛或者是狗？”拉比回答“不对”。另一位学生回答，“当我们看着远处的树，能指出他是无花果或是桃树。”拉比又说“不对”。面对这样的问题，学生们反问老师到底是什么呢？拉比说，“当你看见男人和女人，而把他视为你的弟兄和你的姐妹的时候。倘若你不是如此，无论什么时候，都仍然是在黑漆的夜里。”这个故事很有智慧也很有意思，使我们知道没有爱的人，永远都住在黑暗当中。
第十一條誡命是什麼？上帝不是只給摩西十條誡命而不是十一條嗎？是的，上帝頒發十誡給摩西。但聖經也記載上帝藉主耶穌基督給我們另一條新的命令，我稱之為第十一條誡命。這誡命是什麼？為何是新的呢？我們又該如何實踐出來呢？
“Love recognizes no barriers.” This quote by Maya Angelou encapsulates the randomness and intensity of loving someone; it also reminds us that we should love regardless of race, creed, or religion. Jesus Christ, on the other hand, commands us to love like He loved us.

主耶稣是一位好老师，但祂在回答门徒和其他人的问题时，常常听起来所问非所答， 而且耶稣常常使用比喻来教导门徒。主耶稣在马太 13 章中，门徒就问耶稣为什么用比喻时，耶稣的回答让门徒受到启发和思考，原来明白耶稣的教导要打开心里的 眼睛，用天国的眼光来看待眼前的事实。这样才能明白耶稣的教导究竟在讲什么！
就像我么今天要讲的这段经文，先是一段比喻，然后是讲解，为了让门徒认识耶稣是谁？祂会为我们成就什么？
我們從五月開始，我們都在於講道約翰福音，這福音裡面有一個特點，就是使徒約翰描寫耶穌七的“我是“：
我是生命的米糧；我是世上的光；我是羊的門；復活在我，生命也在我；我是好牧者；我是道路，真理，生命；我是真葡萄樹。使徒約翰的目的是要人人認識並相信耶穌是基督，是神的子。信祂的人會得永生。
今天我們的經文是第三的“我是“，我是羊的門。
我們所知道的門有很多種。有大有小，有高有低，有寬有窄。有些是用金屬製成的，有些是用木頭做的，還有一些是用玻璃做的。這些門都是人造的。
但是耶穌所比喻的羊門，不是我們會想像到的，不是祂用最好的物質來做成的。乃是那個門就是祂的身體（是指祂本人）。
What did Jesus mean in John 10:7 when He said, “…I am the door of the sheep?” In ancient times, a sheepfold in the rural areas is just made of small rocks arranged into a pen for the sheep to sleep in at night. Once the shepherd guides the sheep into the pen, he lies down to serve as the gate or the door so that his sheep are protected. This is what Jesus meant; but why did He willingly become the door of the sheep?
在约翰福音6:60-69，主耶稣的事工遇到危机，祂门徒中多有退去的，不再和祂同行。主耶稣不但不为此事受到困扰，而降低祂对门徒的要求，祂反而向那十二个门徒发出挑战说：「你们也要去吗？」。
门徒为何退去呢？我们来看三类的门徒以及不再跟从主的原因，并来思考你如何回答这个问题：「你还归从谁呢？」
在約翰福音6:60-69，主耶穌的事工遇到危機，祂門徒中多有退去的，不再和祂同行。主耶穌不但不為此事受到困擾，而降低祂對門徒的要求，祂反而向那十二個門徒發出挑戰說：「你們也要去嗎？」。
門徒為何退去呢？我們來看三類的門徒以及不再跟從主的原因，並來思考你如何回答這個問題：「你還歸從誰呢？」
What gives us satisfaction? Making our house clean and orderly, accomplishing our work, receiving praise for a job well-done, spending time with a loved one? These things are good for our souls but they are fleeting.
耶穌為什麼大發雷霆？祂為上帝的聖名，為上帝的聖殿，為上帝的榮耀，用強烈的行動潔淨聖殿，顯出祂為上帝的殿心急如焚。耶穌潔淨聖殿讓我們看到耶穌聖潔、公義、威嚴的一面。耶穌要除去污穢，糾正偏差，讓教會，就是上帝的殿，可以重新恢復成為萬國禱告的殿，讓世人可以親近上帝，得以禱告和敬拜上帝。
我们今天分享约翰福音的第二章13-22节，主耶稣洁净圣殿。这是弟兄姊妹非常熟悉的故事，四福音书都有有关洁净圣殿的记载。 因此，约翰福音记载的洁净圣殿是发生在主耶稣事奉的初期，这一点是不会有特别疑问的。此外，约翰和其他三个福音书的作者记载的内容稍有不同。约翰福音记载的是赶出牛羊，符类福音是赶出殿里做买卖的人；约翰福音里主说“不要将我父的殿当作买卖的地方”，而符类福音一致地记载“经上记着说：‘我的殿必称为祷告的殿’，你们倒使它成为贼窝了”
When you stand up for what is right, you usually have a compelling reason. You might have been fed up with the corrupt status quo. You might have wanted to shake people out of their apathy. You might be protecting someone you care about. Jesus also stood up for what was right when He went to the temple in John 2. In fact, He got so angry that He drove out the merchants forcefully.
Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:19 that we are to go and make disciples of all nations. We do this by proclaiming the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ. This is our mission while we are here on earth. How about God? What is His mission?
只要看一下宇宙的奇观，我们就可以说上帝是伟大的施恩者。祂给了我们所拥有的一切--家庭，工作/事业，朋友，我们热爱的音乐，我们热衷的嗜好，珍贵的产业，才干/恩赐，和金钱。上帝先施恩。我们的施舍永不会远超过祂。祂配得我们回应奉献给祂。
Just by looking at the wonders of the universe, we can fervently say that God is the great Giver. He gave us everything we have – our families, our work, our friends, the music we love, the hobbies we’re passionate about, our prized possessions, our talents, and our money. God gave first. We can never out-give Him. The only response He deserves is for us to give back.
當主耶穌看見許多的人，就憐憫他們，於是對門徒說：「要收的莊稼多，做工的人少。所以，你們當求莊稼的主打發工人出去收他的莊稼。」我們來看主耶穌怎樣教導我們要以禱告來參與宣教的行列。藉禱告來推動上帝宣教的事工，也培養信徒宣道的負擔，才能以神的使命為己任。
你如何看這個世界？ 你是否惦念你去過的地方，或是你以後想看的景點，或者是想像進入未知的旅程？ 當上帝看這世界時，祂看得更多。 祂看到每個人 – 男女老幼，並且他認識每個人。 祂毫無保留地愛著每個人，並按照祂良好完美的旨意安排設計每個人的生活。
How do you see the world? Do you think of the places you have been to, or the sights you want to see someday, or do you imagine journeys #IntoTheUnknown? When God looks at the world, He sees more. He sees each individual – man, woman, child – and He knows each one intimately. He loves each man, woman, and child without reservation, and He orchestrates each life according to His good and perfect will.
Our lives these past few months have felt like unwanted adventures #IntoTheUnknown. We do not know when and how this crisis will end so the future seems to be covered by a gray curtain, gloomy and ceaseless. There is, however, a bleaker future that awaits one who has no hope, one who fears death and what comes after death – and this wretched future comes to those who reject Jesus Christ.
在四部福音书中，马太、马可、路加被称为对观福音也叫做符类福音，因为它们中间有很多事件是从不同的角度所陈述的。透过对观福音也可以让我们看到福音书作者针对的写作对象和写作目标，以及写作重点的不同。但对比了解之后却可以把叙述的人和事了解地更加清楚和全面。而惟有约翰福音跟其它三部福音书有很大的不同。约翰福音所强调的神学和耶稣基督的神性都更加深刻。在约翰福音中记载的神迹奇事也更加丰富多彩和更具选择性。在约翰福音中主耶稣说，我是光、我是道路、真理、生命、我是生命的粮、我是葡萄树等等这些生动的比喻都向我们彰显出耶稣是谁！所以很多人无论是信主多年的基督徒还是初信的弟兄姊妹都很喜欢约翰福音。因为约翰福音的写作目的非常清楚『20:31 但把这些事记下来，是要你们信耶稣是基督，是神的儿子，并且使你们信了，可以因祂的名得生命。』所以使人得生命就是约翰福音的主要主题。
Tim Tebow has this to say about significance: I think the greatest tragedy in life is looking back and saying, “I was successful in things that didn’t matter.” Being successful does not necessarily translate to being significant. If what you say and do show the love of God, then that is significant – and that will have eternal value.
Let’s look at the first miracle of Jesus recorded in John chapter 2 to learn spiritual lessons. The Gospel of John was written that we might believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

Did you numbly realize that your money and possessions are worthless against a health crisis? Has this quarantine revealed how empty your spirit is, that you need God? Let us hear how Jesus answered the need in Nicodemus’ heart.
耶穌到底如何是誰？ 這是一個必需面對的最重要的問題。無論是在現今世界或以後的世界裏，你遲早必須回答。並且你的答案將影響你今世的生活和你的永恆歸宿。有多少的人因對耶穌有正確的認識，相信祂，並委身於祂，生命就有極大的改變。
《约翰福音》与其它三本福音书，都是描写耶稣基督，惟所描写的角度各不同：
《马太福音》说到耶稣是『大卫...的苗裔』(耶卅三15)，是到地上为王，所以称祂是亚伯拉罕(万国之父)的儿子和大卫(以色列第一位王)的儿子(太一1)；又因为王是有王系的，所以有家谱(太一1~17)。《马可福音》说到耶稣是『仆人的苗裔』。《路加福音》说到耶稣为人子(完全的人)，所以家谱追叙到亚当(路三23~38)，因为亚当是人类的始祖。《约翰福音》说到耶稣是神的儿子(完全的神)，神是无始无终的，因此在时间上追叙到太初(约一1)，就是无始的永世。
“In the beginning…” are the first 3 words we find in Genesis. Then we read about God creating everything we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch in the world. The gospel of John starts with the same 3 words – In the beginning. Do you know why? This is because God was NOT ALONE when He created everything we see, hear, smell, taste, and touch in the world.
常在教会里听一些属灵前辈和牧者讲道及带领查经时 提到，创世记由四件事和四个人组成主线。透过这个脉络，让我们认识到以色列民 族的起源与上帝的计划。而当我们读到约瑟的故事时，就是进入到创世记最后一位 主角的叙述。如果拿旧约约瑟的生平与新约中主耶稣的生平对比，就会发现其中有 许多相似之处。约瑟的叙事部分在创世记中也是篇幅最长，最丰富多彩的一段。创 世记的最后一节经文停留在了约瑟之死的记录上，他的遗体被香薰、收敛后停在埃 及。这一节也直接把创世记的故事继续向出埃及记来延续，可以说是作者摩西的伏 笔。那么今天的经文记载在 50:15-21，这段经文处于两个人物与两段死亡之间的记录。上文有 49:33 雅各 147 岁气绝而死，葬回迦南；下文有约瑟 110 岁留下遗愿， 神必带领以色列众子归回应许之地，然后死在埃及。今天这段经文只有几节，但其 信息量却要贯穿整个约瑟的生平，也透过今天的叙事让我们借着约瑟与其众兄弟之 间的对话来认识神的心意究竟如何！
Have you ever felt the pain of betrayal? It cuts deep. You feel frozen and your mind stops working. Your heart feels heavy with the pain. Then the denial starts. That’s not possible, you tell yourself. When you’ve admitted that you were betrayed, the anger starts. Your anger becomes bitterness as more time passes. Do you feel that way towards someone?
曾经听过一句话: “这世上唯一不变的，就是变化。”也有人用“三十年河东，三十年河西”来形容人生的多变。人生在世，时常有太多不可预测的事情发生。我们除了要面对生活中的各种挫折、变故、打击、背叛等心灵上的创伤以外，还要随时迎接意料不到的疾病、事故及灾难的来临。可能这一秒我们还在享受着，下一秒就什么都没有了。
事实上，人类每天都在承受着各种压力，甚至面对死亡的威胁。所以人是弱小有限的，凭着我们自己完全没能力改变这些突发的状况。如果人能预知未来，知道将来会发生什么，并提前做好预备，说不定就能避免灾祸。或者，即便在灾难来临，跌入谷底时，也能逢凶化吉、有惊无险地安然度过。在圣经历史中就有这么一位人物——约瑟。透过今天的经文我要和弟兄姐妹分享的主题是《在苦难中蒙神保守》。
從約瑟的生平可以看到上帝在他身上的安排與引導，是如何的多采多姿，雖然有高有低，卻見證了上帝的主權；這也提醒我們，上帝同樣的在我們的生命中要演出祂的故事來，藉我們的遭遇，見證上帝仍然掌控一切。
Close your eyes. Now, remember all the answered prayers you had. Remember the times when circumstances seem hopeless and overwhelming, and then recall how God responded to your need each time. Isn’t God worthy of your joyful praise? Praise Him for all He has done, and then ask Him to strengthen your faith so that you can confidently say, “God’s will be done because His will is perfect.”
By crossing the Jabbok Jacob 雅博渡口 was going to be entering into Esau’s territory, but God saw something even more significant than that. By crossing the Jabbok Jacob would be entering into the land that God has sworn to give to Abraham’s descendants -- the promised land. (Refer Genesis 28) God wasn’t about to allow Jacob to enter the promised land -- the land of His blessing or favor -- on his own terms or in his own strength. And so God appears in the form of a man and wrestles with Jacob, not for sport, but in order to teach him some important truths. The God-man said to Jacob, “...you have struggled with God...and have overcome” (v. 28). And yet as we read the text it is clear that Jacob didn’t “overcome” in

When you pray and ask God to solve your problem, you usually have an answer in mind. You expect God to provide that solution that you thought of. God, in His unfathomable wisdom, answered your prayer in a different way. #TheStruggleIsReal because you refuse to accept it – at first. Then, you slowly realize that it was the perfect solution. You are emotionally and mentally stronger. You are better able to handle hardships that come your way. This is trusting God. This is what God desires from us.

我們從今年正月開始就要將創世記講完。上兩個主日前，蔡牧師分享到創世記25章關於兩個兄弟不同生命的焦點。今天早上，安排我來分享創世記28：10-22節是關於雅各逃難時的經歷。
首先，我們一起來看他的背景：雅各和以掃是雙包胎。他們出生時；雅各抓著哥哥的腳出來的，所以他的名叫做雅各。原文的意思是「緊隨他人的腳步」； 另外一個意思是「替代者」。
Before this crisis, #TheStruggleIsReal because we had to wake up early to avoid traffic congestion. We had many deadlines to meet. We juggle quality time with our family and “me time.” God took all that away. God, in His grace, gave us the rest that we needed – physical, mental, and spiritual rest from the frantic pace of life. Now we see how many blessings we have, and how little others have. If we say that we want others to know the love of God too, show His love during this crisis by providing for their physical needs. Ask the church how you can do this.
When the enhanced community quarantine is over, and we have gone back to a new normal-but-cautious routine, let us be mindful that we are not in control of our lives. Let us tell as many as we can about the free gift of forgiveness and eternal life that Jesus offers.
今天这段经文的故事，大家耳熟能详，这段旧约的故事，为什么新约的希伯来书也特别花篇幅来介绍这故事，并以此引为教训呢？原来这段故事所带出来的意义与我们大有关系，如果与我们没有关系，这故事就跟白雪公主、灰姑娘的故事一样没有差别，一点教训也没有，我觉得这段故事的教训，要从创世纪二十五章看到二十七章才更为显明。

How do we become men and women of faith? It’s not automatic when we become followers of Christ. We become men and women who #LiveByFaith when we are tested by God through the uncertainties and difficulties in life, and we obey Him even when God asks us to give up what we love. Then, your faith is strengthened as you see God’s power working miracles in your life.

上帝在對我們說什麼話？我自己在土土想，這個病毒像罪一樣。雖然不能看見，但是上帝的話告訴我們，罪早已經住在我們裡頭。我們還沒出生就有了。罪惡就是像這種病毒，你不知道你有，其實早早就有了。奇怪的是，人不肯承認他有。他以為他沒有，所以他在日常生活中做他任何愛做的事情。像今天的光景，還有很多人不遵守政府所吩咐的「不要離開家裡」，假如你在外面要與人「疏遠。」但是在路上，還有人擠在一起。這顯明給我們看到人的罪性是這樣：不聽話。同樣，上帝的話警告我們人是罪人，罪的工價是死。但是人對罪來說，不要不緊，不要聽話，不肯承認。我再說一次，這就是罪惡性的表現。

在网上或报纸上我们经常会看到招生启事，某某公司招聘一名秘书，年龄在多少岁之间，性别--女，学历—大学本科，会讲中英文优先等等!这些广告都会在我们身边穷出不穷，基本都是这样有条件的招聘，我们从刚才读到的圣经里面看到13节告诉我们说，门徒都是耶稣“随自己的意思叫”的。在路加福音6:12-13写道，耶稣祷告了一个晚上，就拣选了12个门徒，耶稣也要求门徒要常和自己同在,也要被差遣出去传道。
我们刚才读的经文上文提到当耶稣医治了枯干了一只手的人时，当时的宗教领袖法利赛人决定跟希律一党的人勾结来除掉耶稣。耶稣知道自己在世界时间不多，耶稣要培养同工，训练他们，于是就设立十二使徒，耶稣在很多人面前正式地拣选他们，让他们决定顺从地过门徒的人生。一个作主门徒的人是要

Our hope is firm, because we know that what you know is what gets you through life. Think about this, what you know is what gets you through life. Life is gonna be full of surprises. Life will not always go as we planned. We may plan all we want, but in a snap of a finger, we are now in a community quarantine in NCR, we have a curfew going on from 8pm to 5am, there are no classes going on, COVID19 has changed our lives and how we live, how we interact with people, and that’s life folks.
Let’s look at 2 Corinthians 1:3-11 and see how to face life in the midst of uncertainty
Rev. William Jonathan Ong reminds us that “We must leave our average behind to experience God’s extraordinary.” Is God calling you to do something extraordinary? Are you reluctant to do it because it would mean leaving your comfort zone? Our God is the same God Abraham trusted when he left his comfortable life to go live in a place he has never been. God kept His promise of blessing to Abraham – just like He will bless you so that you can bless others when you heed God’s call.

Has God ever urged you to do something you feel unprepared for, or to take up a daunting responsibility? You delay, or you try to get out of it. You don’t want to do it because it’s out of your comfort zone. Guess what? God’s plans for you are inconceivably grand that He needs to mold you into the right shape. He needs to stretch you out, to pinch some parts, and to cut off what’s unnecessary. These steps cause pain and discomfort; but without the pain and discomfort, you will not be ready to fulfill God’s purpose in your life. Be like Abraham and obey God with complete faith that He will always keep His promises.

What angers you the most in our society today? Is it kidnapping children to harvest their organs, or corruption in the highest levels of government, or pedophiles? Now look in the mirror and think of your own sins. Do these anger you too? Do you feel ashamed of your insatiable need to own what others have? How about your neglect in paying your debts, or when you blame others for failures which are your responsibility? Sin, whether big or small, is still unholy in God’s eyes. Accept responsibility for your sins and surrender your life to God. Jesus freely offers forgiveness.

In the book of Genesis, we see how God created a perfect world out of nothing. Day and night, sky and sea, majestic mountains and lush greenery, sun and moon, chirping birds and gigantic whales, man and woman. He can create such magnificence out of His infinite wisdom, yet He loves each one of us unconditionally such that He prepares and provides for our every need.
So why do we worry? Why do we run after what the world can give us? Let us worship our Creator by giving Him first place in our lives. Let us be reminded that our primary purpose in life is to love and serve God.

What is your defining quality? Is it your fashion style, or your sense of humor, or your excellence in what you do? If you say that you are a Christian, your defining quality should be love – a love that overlooks faults but does not tolerate sin. Your loving actions can draw people to Christ. Remember, the Christian life is a life completely lived out through Jesus, in Jesus, and for Jesus!

Jesus Christ, by His death and resurrection, fulfilled all of God’s laws so we would be set free from the power of sin and death. He defeated all the powers of this world. This means that we don’t have to do anything else after we have invited Him to be our Lord and Savior. We don’t have to pray to angels or spirits; we don’t have to follow superstitious customs as a back-up to our prayers; we don’t have to walk barefoot behind any carved image or touch the carved image to be blessed. Get to know Jesus and His will through the Bible, so you won’t be deceived by false teachings.

What common cultural practices do you do? Do you say “good luck” to a friend about to face something difficult? Do you have “fortune plants” or golden frog figurines in the house so that you will have a prosperous life? Do you choose “good” dates to get married? We do not need to live in fear and submit to superstitious practices because Jesus is the Lord of creation and redemption.
