A giant frog water sculpture, splash pad and wading pool are only some of the new waterplay features at Maylands Waterland that will be open to the public from next week.

New waterplay features will come alive at the historic water park from next Wednesday including a giant motorbike frog water sculpture, waterfall, splash pad, wading pool, tipping bucket and water creek.

Turning on the water elements completes stage one of the $4.4 million upgrades at the parkland after its dry areas were renovated and launched in winter this year.
