It’s been a particularly tough couple of years for our health workers, put under enormous strain thanks to the COVID pandemic. And aged care workers have been particularly feeling it as they man the frontlines caring for some of the country’s most vulnerable people. Today, thousands of aged care workers in WA and Queensland are going on strike, in protest of their wages and working conditions.
