One of the men accused of the vicious bashing of a Good Samaritan at a Hamilton Hill retirement village is facing more allegations — that he was the third ram raider who pulled off a brazen heist at a Gucci store in Perth’s CBD just days earlier.

Jacob Ramos, 19, appeared in court this week charged with the thuggish assault on Christopher Hands, which left the 65-year-old needing dozens of stitches in his head — and his elderly neighbours living in fear.

WA Police allege Mr Ramos, along with co-accused Lorentz James Warren, 20, attacked Mr Hands after he told them he didn’t have the $100 cash they demanded.

Sunrise correspondent Matt Tinney has the details.
