Perth tradies are pocketing a whopping average hourly wage of $117 — making them some of the highest paid construction workers in the entire world — a new report has revealed.
The International Construction Market Survey from British construction company Turner & Townsend found the average Perth tradies’ salary was the second highest of Australia’s capital cities — behind Melbourne — and only behind four US and two Swiss cities.
This means the average Perth construction worker would make $231,000 a year if they worked a regular 38 hour week.
