Almost 20 years ago, two bombs went off at Paddy’s pub and the Sari Club in Bali. The devastating blasts killed 202 people, including 88 Australians. Hundreds more were injured.

The Bali bombings shocked, saddened and scared the world.

Three perpetrators were executed, and one man - Umar Patek -  who made the bombs was sentenced to 20 years behind bars.

It’s now been revealed that Patek will be released from prison 10 years early - for good behaviour.

The things is, that falls on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the bombings. A lot of victims have come out to say he should stay behind bars for the rest of his life.

Dr Carmen Jaques has researched the impact of terror attacks on victims.

And she joins the show to explain how this latest development could be incredibly triggering for victims.
