In this episode of the Driven Female Entrepreneur Podcast, I speak with Melani Sabhaney, an interior designer and the Co-founder and Director of Interspace.
Melani had a successful career and had no intention of starting a business. It wasn't until a sudden health event transformed her life forever and prompted her to rethink her life and what she really wanted from it.
She took the decision to become a freelance architect and said ‘yes’ to some exciting projects that pushed her out of comfort zone and helped her see her full potential. When the opportunity arose, she and a friend decided to use their complementary strengths to build a business together.
Thanks to her health issue, Melani recognised how valuable it is to do what you love. That doesn’t mean she hasn’t learned a LOT of valuable lessons while building her business, some of which she is still learning!
