Jessica takes time to reflect on the past couple of months of recovery to share the challenges faced with losing her independence before experiencing life-threatening changes. As her recovery seem to be improving, she took a step back when a pulmonary embolism created a fight for every breath. After becoming the care recipient, she then worried her husband would reach caregiver burnout before she was back to better health overall.
