What makes a Charity effective?  How much of their operating budget should charities be spending on staff vs. direct help ($) to the intended cause.  If you ran a Food bank, how much of the budget should go to salaries vs.to the food you are distributing?    George welcomes Auroa City Councilwoman Francoise Bergan who explains questions the Council had about Federal dollars allocated to local charities.  Why do they care?  Some of these "charities" are spending 70% or more of their budget on staff salaries.  is that charity?  Then George welcomes Wayne Thomas.  You might not recognize the name, but Wayne was convicted as a juvenile for armed robbery and more.  While serving his sentence, he leaned into education and got his Doctorate.  After being pardoned he has gone on to live a wonderful productive life. He shares his remarkable story.
