Review of the Time Machine Manifesto - 1. Friendships matter. 2. The call killer is comparison. 3. Free”dumb” is a thing without Jesus. 4. Communicate don’t manipulate; not just saying what I think others want to hear 5. More to me than I can see, 3 part being 6. Satisfaction for “spiritual hanger” 7. Don't be afraid of the struggle

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

(Not talking about sickness, pain or disease here) A couple of struggles that I have tried to avoid in the past are: · Dealing with difficult people/co-workers · Dealing with job functions that no one likes or wants to do · Having tough conversations to develop relationships · Being vulnerable in learning something new · Embracing change · Staying put when everyone around you seems to be moving on · Having to start over, take extra time or have patience with an outcome or task (AHHHHHHH=)

Ruth 1:16-17 Ruth 2:2-3 Ruth 2:11-12 Esther 2:8 MSG Esther 2:15-17

So what can I learn from the struggle, like Ruth & Esther? 1. It may not be the obvious or popular choice. 2. It will involve some hard work. 3. It will allow me to see the blessing of where I am at today. a. To see value in staying put (loyalty) 4. It will allow God’s grace to be what shines in my life!
