Tonight’s guest is author Gene Hutmaker. Gene lives in Monmouth Junction, NJ and once worked as a supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years from 1980 to 2005.
Gene was also a war hero, serving a tour of duty in Vietnam in 1966 for the U.S. Army 196th Light Infantry Brigade.
Gene has been a lifelong baseball fan. He also played, coached, and even umpired baseball games and in 2006 he released his first book “Banned in the Bronx: The Yankee Hater Memoirs 1953-2005”, a loving chronicle of the author’s hatred of the New York Yankees which examines their failures and errors from 1953 to 2006 with all the passion and humor that a Yankee hater can summon.
