Tonight’s guest is Investigative Journalist and author Sandra Peddie. Sandra lives on Long Island, New York and since 1993 she has worked for Newsdaywhere she has had a distinguished career as a journalist. She has won more than 75 awards for her journalistic work. She was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service and worked on Newsday’s1995 Pulitzer Prize winning series on police disability fraud.

In 1997 she published her first book “The Repetitive Strain Injury Sourcebook” and she is about to release her second book “Sonny: The Last of the Old Time Mafia Bosses, John “Sonny” Franzese”, a biography of the legendary mafioso Sonny Franzese who was a member of the Profaci later to be renamed Colombo Crime Family of the American Cosa Nostra.

I had the honor and privilege of reading an advance copy of this great book and I must say that it is powerful, tragic and Sandra Peddie’s prose hits you right between the eyes like a bullet out of the barrel of Sonny Franzese’s gun.
