In this episode I interview my childhood friend Ashley Escalante. Ashley is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has experience working in hospital settings and in schools. She has a passion for learning languages, traveling, and helping others. Throughout our conversation we discuss Ashley's journey to Speech-Language Pathology, what the role of an SLP is, and what educators can do to best support students with disabilities.

If you want to learn more about Ashley's practices as an SLP, you can check out her instagram page @speechlanguage_explained.
