Such a Fun Age

This week we're talking personal growth, and how we can listen and learn to become actively anti-racist. We stand with the Black community and want to share some of the mindset shifts we're working through and how we're having tough conversations with our family and friends in light of the George Floyd protests. This week is dedicated to supporting some of our favorite brands and Black owned businesses, along with sharing our favorite apps, books and hobbies for personal growth.

Personal growth is different for everyone, but some of the ways we're staying inspired lately include the following.

Books:
Jess Connolly, You Are The Girl for the Job
Kiley Reid, Such a Fun Age

Habits:
Go for a run this week or try a puzzle - studies show puzzles can actually help reduce anxiety.

Apps:
Libby - The app that allows you to virtually borrow audiobooks from your local library.

-The Zen Succulent
-228 Grant Street
-Fatima Dedrickson
