370 - Casting Out Devils
How to Read the Bible for Understanding and Power
God bless you abundantly in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Simply Manifesting God’s Power
We will finish up on the topic of Simply Manifesting God's Power by looking at Jesus Christ teaching his disciples how to manifest the power of God simply.
Matthew 14:14-21: Jesus asked his disciples to feed them, and then he showed them how to meet the need.
Matthew 15:32-39:
Matthew 16:5-12:
Casting Out Devils
I John 4:4: Greater is he that is in you (The Christ in You), than he that is in the world (The devil and his devil spirits).
Ephesians 1:19-23: We are far above.
James 2:19: Devils believe and tremble when they see you when you know what you have and believe it.
Matthew 10:1: The word “cast out” is “ekballo” in Greek, meaning to throw out. Today as we take the place of Jesus Christ here on earth, we throw the unclean spirits out.
As you read the four Gospels and the Book of Acts, you will see records relating to devil spirits and casting them out. You will notice two times when you can cast out the devil's spirits.
1.) After people hear the Word of God regarding healing and deliverance, respond to that teaching or preaching and go to a believer with the desire and expectation to get the deliverance needed. Then the believing believer can cast out the devil's spirits. When the one who is possessed or his family believes in deliverance, the believer believes in his authority over the devil spirit(s) and orders the devil spirit(s) to go out of the person. Both the people must believe, the one desiring healing and the one who does the casting out.
2.) When a devil spirit in a person is disturbing you by crying out, shouting, or speaking things that prevent you from doing what you wish to do in a meeting or in your daily routine, then you cast it out of the person. When this happens, you do not need anyone to come to you for deliverance, and you just cast it out. However, you will need to instruct the one who was delivered how to keep the devils away.
Matthew 8:16: Those who were possessed with devils were brought by others who responded to the Word of deliverance preached to them. Jesus cast them out with his word.
Matthew 10:7&8: You preach the good news, and when people respond with an expectation to receive deliverance and come to you, you throw out devils by telling them to go out.
Mark 9:14-29: You do not pray to God to cast it out. You cast it out. Speak your words with authority, and the devils shall obey you. All things are possible to him that believes.
Acts 8:5-8: People got blessed as they received great deliverance. You will be very blessed, and you will bless many others as you get out and help others.
Acts 16:16-18: This is the second way in which you can cast the devil's spirits out. The spirit in the damsel was disturbing Paul and affecting him in ministering the Word of God to people in the area. You can do the same as you minister the Word of God to others when and if the spirits disturb you. You just cast the spirits out.
May God Bless you Abundantly
