As the anniversary of the year BLADE RUNNERis set in approaches, we take a look at one of the greatest films of all time and why it is considered by so many to be so timeless. We discuss the impact of the film on science fiction and on cinema in general, as well as the brilliance of its 2016 sequel, BLADE RUNNER 2049, the many versions of the original, why E.T. sucks (it’ll make sense when you get to that part), and THAT speech. It will also serve as a tribute to the late Rutger Hauer, whose brilliant portrayal of the tortured Roy Batty lives on in movie history forever. Spoilers for various films.
