Perhaps you have already figured out the acronym for joy: Jesus, Others, Yourself: JOY. Remember the acronym if you desire to know true joy that will never be taken away. J, Jesus must have first place in your life. O, others must come second. Y, yourself, must come last. If you follow this order, not only are you meeting Jesus’ conditions for joy, but your joy will also remain even in the darkest of days.
