Mentoring should be a symbiotic relationship, it is imperative for a potential protege to understand that he or she my not become a burden to their mentor. It goes both ways. Choose your mentor wisely because it will determine your outcome after a period of time. Also, have it in mind that,like every relationship,mentoring and protege involves investment of time, energy, resources, and your emotions.
