Robert Milder is a Holland-based designer and environmentalist, and the founder of circular furniture innovation company Van De Sant.

He was born in a small town in Holland, in 1973. In his early years he studied business management and graphic design at University in Utrecht. After his career switch in 2010, he specialized himself in the furniture industry and created the brand Van de Sant.

With a strong focus on environmental awareness, he discovered a way to reintegrate plastic waste into the value chain and to start a new revolution within the traditional furniture industry.

Now, Van de Sant designs and manufactures comfortable sustainable furniture, made from several waste streams. The furniture stops deforestation, reduces plastic waste and CO2 emission, creates local jobs and is 100% circular, which means that after the end of life cycle every piece returns in the manufacturing process.
