Work In Progress is a Podcast for the people out there who know that they're not perfect and that they need God's grace. This podcast was created as a platform for people much like myself. People who continue to press towards the mark everyday. People who trust in the Lord to complete the work that he has started in us. This is not a Christian podcast, rather a podcast for anyone who considers themselves a Work In Progress. My prayer is that through these episodes, someone that they are not alone. That God is not done with any of us yet.

This week on Work In Progress I have invited my amazing husband to be my very first guest. We will be discussing what being a Work In Progress looks like as a minister, what areas of his life he feels like a Work In Progress in and last but certainly not least how marriages may be a "Work In Progress" and what we've learned over the years.
In light of all the recent events happening in our country, I thought it necessary to shed light on what POC's may be feeling. Simply put, WE ARE TIRED! We're tired of having to convince others that our lives matter. We're tired of being targeted simply because of the color of our skin. We're tired of being seen as criminals and not just ordinary people. And most of all were tired of having to prove to people that we aren't a threat and are worth advocating for. In the wake of everything going on, I am encouraged to use my platform to shed light on all the injustices taking place. If you get nothing else from this week's episode, get this, We are Tired!
This week I would like to encourage anyone listening to really Check your Privilege. I also would encourage you to take a moment to really consider ways that you can bless others who may not posses the same privileges as you.
When I started this podcast, I committed to sharing the highs, the lows, and everything in between. So here's the first low or shall I say "in-between". In this season of my life, I am reminded of the scripture that states, "In all things give thanks" so that's exactly what I plan to do. My hope is that in hearing this episode you are encouraged to do the same even in the midst of undesirable circumstances.
To explain where I am now, I must first go backwards. This first episode takes a look at how I even got to this point. My hope is that others who have been through something realize that they're not alone, and despite what we go through in our personal or spiritual lives, God's not done with us .ย ย -Jas Gordon
